Highland County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 14

Do you have a unique, handmade craft or specialty food you want to get in front of a captive audience? The Highland County Chamber of Commerce is seeking one-of-a-kind vendors for the juried arts and crafts show at the 62nd Annual Highland County Maple Festival, scheduled for March 12 – 13 and 19 – 20, 2022. Voted by the public as the Best Food or Drink Festival of the Shenandoah Valley Region in the Virginia Living’s 2020 and 2021 Best of Virginia awards and Best Family Entertainment in the Daily News-Record’s 2021 Best of the Valley awards, this established annual festival attracts thousands and thousands over two weekends. After having to cancel the festival in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, we are expecting a high turnout for its long-awaiting return in 2022. There are six official locations in Monterey and McDowell, as well as a street food court available for food trucks and vendors in Monterey. Spots are limited and competitive, so apply early!
