Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his official Twitter account highlighting issues ranging from agriculture to military honors and state tax policy.

On March 24, 2026, Cline acknowledged National Agriculture Day, stating, “Happy National Agriculture Day! As the representative of the largest agricultural district in the Commonwealth, I am proud to stand with the farmers, ranchers, and producers who work tirelessly to feed our families, boost local economies, and keep this vital industry thriving in https://t.co/TifzEy6qkb”.

The following day, March 25, 2026, Cline recognized #NationalMedalOfHonorDay by posting: “On #NationalMedalOfHonorDay, we pause to recognize the more than 3,500 Americans awarded our nation’s highest military honor. These true patriots went far beyond the call of duty, sacrificing everything to defend our liberties. Their courage and bravery will always be remembered. https://t.co/HiUYeTosch”.

Later that same day, he addressed state politics with a critical view of Virginia Democrats’ fiscal policies: “Virginia Democrats claim to be the party of affordability, but the truth is they are trying to increase taxes at every turn. From new taxes on everyday services to higher costs for families and small businesses, their policies move Virginia in the wrong direction. https://t.co/AuF6UfKMZt”.

Ben Cline has represented Virginia’s 6th District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Bob Goodlatte. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1972 and now residing in Fincastle at age 51, Cline holds degrees from Bates College and the University of Richmond.
