Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several issues through his official Twitter account, focusing on foreign aid spending, legislative achievements, and concerns over foreign influence in the U.S. legal system.

Later that same day, he expressed concern about international actors using U.S. institutions for strategic gain: “The CCP is abusing the U.S. court system as part of its broader strategy to compete with and weaken the U.S. My Protecting Our Courts from Foreign Manipulation Act stops this tactic by safeguarding American businesses, intellectual property, and the integrity of our legal”

Ben Cline has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Bob Goodlatte and previously held office in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1972 and currently resides in Fincastle at age 51. Cline holds a BA from Bates College (1994) and a JD from the University of Richmond (2007).
