He stated, “My prayers are with the families and loved ones impacted by the devastating floods in Texas.” He also acknowledged the efforts of first responders, National Guard members, and volunteers who were actively engaged in rescue and recovery operations.
Later that day, he addressed Medicaid work requirements in another tweet. Cline remarked that “Work requirements for Medicaid are just common sense.” He noted that these requirements were initially enacted under President Clinton and continue to have broad support. Cline emphasized securing borders and creating jobs as essential steps to reducing government dependency.
In a subsequent post on July 7, 2025, Congressman Cline highlighted legislative support for American farmers through a new bill. He tweeted about “The One Big Beautiful Bill”, which aims to reform the death tax and strengthen agricultural safety nets. Cline expressed pride in voting for this legislation proposed by the current administration to aid farmers who contribute significantly to national food supply chains.
