Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to advocate for stricter election and immigration laws.

On March 26, 2026, Cline posted: “Democrats can claim our elections are safe from illegal voting, but they would be dead wrong. Don’t take my word for it: one illegal voter has cast a ballot in every presidential election since 2008. This is exactly why we need the Save America Act.”

The following day, March 27, he addressed law enforcement cooperation on immigration policy: “When federal, state, and local law enforcement work together to enforce our immigration laws, our communities are safer and the rule of law is upheld. I introduced legislation to require state and local law enforcement agencies to enter into 287(g) agreements with ICE as a”

Later that same day, Cline criticized Democratic policies on vaccine mandates and voter identification requirements: “Remember when Democrats pushed vaccine mandates that determined whether Americans could go to the grocery store or even go to work? Those same voices claim it’s too much of a burden to require an ID to vote. Americans see through this hypocrisy. Pass the Save America Act!”

Cline has represented Virginia’s 6th District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Bob Goodlatte. He previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1972 and currently residing in Fincastle at age 51, Cline holds a BA from Bates College (1994) and a JD from the University of Richmond (2007).
