Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media highlighting recent legislative achievements and positive economic developments.

On July 29, 2025, Cline promoted new legislation with the statement: “The One Big Beautiful Bill is truly a turbocharged engine for the American people. From delivering the largest tax cut in history and fully unleashing American energy to shutting down the border and safeguarding American jobs, this landmark legislation fulfills @HouseGOP’s https://t.co/A0KWwnh824”.

The following day, Cline commented on recent economic data: “The economy is outperforming! Q2 GDP hit 3%, beating economists’ expectations of just 2.3%. This is welcome news for the American workforce and businesses alike. It is a clear sign that pro-growth policies are working. https://t.co/MHkvwEnMCy” (posted July 30, 2025).

Later on July 30, he referenced an international trade agreement: “President Trump’s new trade deal with Japan means $550B headed straight to rebuild American industries, making them stronger than ever. This single investment will create thousands of jobs and expand U.S. manufacturing right here at home. “.

Cline has served as Virginia’s 6th District representative since replacing Bob Goodlatte in 2019 and previously held office in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1972 and currently resides in Fincastle at age 51. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College earned in 1994 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond obtained in 2007.
