Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on social media addressing forestry management, National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and vehicle affordability.

On September 18, 2025, Cline commented on recent changes to forest management policy: “America’s forests were converted into timber boxes due to poor forestry management.

With the creation of the U.S. Wildland Fire Service, we will have a more unified emergency response and better serve our forests, ensuring that we can enjoy them for years to come.”

The following day, September 19, 2025, he marked National POW/MIA Recognition Day with a message honoring military personnel: “Today, on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we pause to honor the brave service members who are still in captivity and those who are missing in action. We will never forget their sacrifice in defense of our great Nation and the freedoms we are blessed with as Americans.”

Later that same day, Cline addressed economic issues related to car ownership: “The average monthly cost of a new vehicle has dropped by $719 compared to last year.

This is exactly what happens when @HouseGOP cuts excessive red tape and is welcoming news to MILLIONS of Americans. “

Ben Cline has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Bob Goodlatte and previously represented his region in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018. Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1972 and currently residing in Fincastle at age 51, Cline holds degrees from Bates College (BA) and the University of Richmond (JD).
