Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media between September 10 and September 11, 2025, reflecting on national events and legislative actions.
On September 10, Cline commemorated the life of a public figure with the statement: “Charlie Kirk was a loving husband and father who inspired a new generation of young Americans to love their country. May he rest in peace.”
The following day, marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Cline wrote: “Today, we pause to remember the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent Americans. We will never forget. #LetsRoll https://t.co/jCBHYG8MTF” This message echoed ongoing sentiments around national remembrance and unity.
Later on September 11, Cline highlighted recent legislative activity by House Republicans regarding defense policy: “House Republicans passed the FY 2026 National Defense Authorization Act which:
Invests in new innovative systems
Cuts red tape to modernize our military
Provides a pay raise for our troops
Secures our border https://t.co/kMVKDFR1MS“
