Congressman Ben Cline, who represents Virginia’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, marked the anniversary of Donald J. Trump’s return to the presidency with a series of posts on social media reflecting on policy achievements and ongoing priorities.
On January 20, 2026, Cline posted: “One year ago, @POTUS Donald J. Trump took office in a historic comeback with an overwhelming mandate to DELIVER on the American First agenda. I’m proud of all we accomplished together, and we will continue fighting over the next 3 years for conservative policies that WORK for https://t.co/tOSHrrfYIr”. The same day, he followed up by highlighting legislative cooperation between House Republicans and President Trump: “With President Trump back in the White House, @HouseGOP worked hand in hand to deliver historic results from securing our border, unleashing domestic energy production, and putting thousands back in the pockets of hardworking Americans. https://t.co/lkpYkGZFYk”.
Addressing concerns about pharmaceutical supply chains on January 21, 2026, Cline wrote: “Americans should never have been forced to rely on China for essential medicines such as antibiotics. Today, China controls up to 90% of global production. @howardlutnick is right to push for bringing these supply chains back to the U.S. and ending our dependence on the CCP. https://t.co/4pbG4GzAyc”.
Cline has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Bob Goodlatte and previously represented his community in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2002 to 2018.
