Gannon guard Julian Rivera set for Division II NCAA tournament appearance

Julian Rivera, a graduate of Highland High School and now a member of the Gannon Golden Knights, will play in the upcoming Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The team enters the competition as the No. 1 seed and will take on the eighth-seeded Charleston Golden Eagles in the first round.

The opener is set for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Highmark Events Center.
