James Madison University lacrosse player Harlowe Healey was named American Conference Midfielder of the Week, according to an April 27 announcement from the conference.

This is Healey’s second weekly award this season, following her recognition last week. The sophomore from Beverly Farms, Massachusetts scored a career-high two goals and recorded 14 draw controls as James Madison defeated Old Dominion 19-7 in their final regular season game.

Healey currently leads the American Conference with an average of 8.35 draw controls per game and 9.33 per conference game. Her total of 142 draw controls is also the highest in the conference.

The Dukes, who are seeded second, will face third-seeded East Carolina in the semifinals of the 2026 American Women’s Lacrosse Championship at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville on Thursday, April 30. The match is scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. start and will be streamed on ESPN+.

Healey’s continued performance has contributed to James Madison finishing its regular season on a five-game winning streak.
