James Madison University announced on March 11 that it will host a public watch party for the women’s basketball NCAA Selection Show at the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Sunday, March 15. The event is free and open to all fans, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. ahead of the show, which begins at 8 p.m.

The watch party comes as the James Madison Dukes celebrate their recent Sun Belt Conference championship win. Fans attending the event can park in the Ballard Parking Deck next to the facility and enter through the Plaza Entrance, where they will be directed to club seating inside.

Attendees will have an opportunity to take photos with the team’s 2026 Sun Belt trophy. The first 300 fans will receive a commemorative Sun Belt Champions poster, and JMU gear will be available for purchase at the team store located within the arena.

The Dukes secured their second Sun Belt Conference title after defeating Troy with a score of 69-52 in Pensacola, Florida. This victory marks James Madison’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2023 and its fourteenth appearance in program history.

For those unable to attend in person, university officials encourage fans to watch live coverage of the selection show on ESPN at 8 p.m., when James Madison will learn its seeding for this year’s March Madness tournament.
