On Saturday, March 7, the Mary Washington Eagles, featuring former Harrisonburg High School standout Jadon Burgess, earned an 81-64 win over the Amherst Mammoths in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The teams met at Ron Rosner Arena at 7:30 p.m. for their first tournament matchup against each other.

The Eagles’ next contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m., also at Ron Rosner Arena.
