Communities across the United States will come together during National Police Week to honor and remember those law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the family members, friends and fellow officers they left behind.

This year’s Peace Officers Flag Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 16 at 10am. While this traditionally takes place at the Public Safety Building in Harrisonburg, this year’s Flag Ceremony will take place at the Kline Campus Center at Bridgewater College.

Stay tuned for more information on Police Week events.

And thank you to Harrisonburg Police Department and to officers across the nation!
