County of Rockingham issued the following announcement on Jan. 28

Board of Assessors hearings with Pearson Appraisals have concluded.  If you participated in a hearing, you should receive a response from Pearsons in the next few weeks.

The next step in the process is the Board of Equalization.  This is a board made up of one citizen from each of the five districts in the county, and they will also be hearing appeals regarding the new 2022 reassessment values from taxpayers in Rockingham County.

The hearings will begin here at the County Administration Building the week of March 14, and we will have staff available to schedule in person appointments at (540) 564-5079 beginning March 1st.
