Notice of Joint Public Hearing

Please take notice on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., the Dayton Town Council and Planning Commission will conduct a joint public hearing concerning a proposed Rezoning Request on behalf of Hope Community Builders for a 3.19-acre portion of tax map number 123-(A)-L9A, which is located South of Mason Street behind 955 Mason Street, Dayton, VA.  The Rezoning Request would be to change the zoning of 3.19 acres of said lot from R-1 to R-2 to allow for the development of 8 duplex dwellings (16 units) and the remaining 7.304 acres of said lot would remain zoned R-1.  This meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of the Dayton Town Hall located at 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, Virginia.

All interested parties are welcome to attend.  Requests for information regarding this public hearing or the Rezoning Request can be referred to the Dayton Town office by calling 540-879-2241 or emailing chall@daytonva.us.  Public comments will only be heard by those attending in person.  If you wish to have your comments heard and are unable to attend, please submit those to the Clerk of Council at the email above by November 10, 2022.
