The Town of Timberville is accepting applications to fill a vacancy in the public works department.  This employee will be responsible for performing a variety of manual and general maintenance tasks in connection with providing services for water, sewer, mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and related fields.  A high school diploma or GED is required.  Must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license.  The preferred candidate will possess or be able to obtain a CDL and have experience in equipment operation, have experience servicing and maintaining automobiles, and have knowledge and experience in the repair and installation of water & sewer infrastructure. Salary is dependent on qualifications.  Solid benefits package including Virginia Retirement System, health insurance, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave.  Applications are available at the Town Office 392 S.
