There were two gas stations in cities across Waynesboro city selling E85 gas at the lowest price of $2.89 per gallon in the week ending Mar. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Of the 17 reported gas stations located within Waynesboro city, two offered E85 gas.

For comparison, the average price of E85 gas in Virginia was $2.87 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 14, up from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
