City of Staunton recently issued the following announcement.

Special Called Meeting of City Council – Budget Work Session

Date: 02/02/2022 

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM  

Location: City Hall

Address: 116 W Beverley St Staunton, Virginia 24401

Mayor Oakes hereby calls the following special meeting of Staunton City Council. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., local time, in the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers, City Hall, 116 West Beverley Street. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the FY2023 Budget in a work session.

She requests that the Interim Clerk of Council provide notice of this memorandum in accordance with Chapter II, Section 7, of the Staunton City Charter, post and otherwise widely publicize notice of this memorandum. She also requested that the Interim Clerk of Council email a copy of this memorandum to all members of City Council.

PUBLIC PARICIPATION

Since the meeting includes a work session, there will be no opportunity for public comment.
