City of Staunton issued the following announcement on Jan. 6

The City of Staunton City Council will hold a special called meeting Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. for the purposes of sharing information and soliciting public input on the possible relocation of Augusta County’s courts and the City’s possible acquisition of the County’s vacated court facilities. Additional information on the agenda can be found on the city calendar.

The meeting will be held in the Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall at 116 West Beverley Street, Staunton, Virginia. Members of the community may attend and participate in person, or virtually using the Zoom application or a phone number for dialing into the meeting. Further instructions can be found at www.ci.staunton.va.us/council.
