Staunton Schedules for Memorial Day
May 19, 2022 – The schedules for City of Staunton offices and facilities will be modified in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30.
Refuse Collection
Residential: Residential trash regularly scheduled for pickup on Monday, May 30 will be collected on Wednesday, June 1.
Downtown Central Business District (CBD): All CBD customers will receive trash collection on Wednesday, June 1 and the regularly scheduled Saturday, June 4.
Recycling Center Hours
The Recycling Center will be closed Monday, May 30 and will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 31. Community members are reminded that the Recycling Center is not open on Wednesdays.
Library Hours
The Staunton Public Library will be closed on Sunday, May 29 and Monday, May 30 and will return to its normal schedule on Tuesday, May 31. The outdoor book drop will be open for returns, and digital books and other online resources are available 24/7 at www.StauntonLibrary.org.
- Please note that seasonal Sunday hours will end May 22 and will not resume until September
Administrative Office Hours
The City of Staunton’s administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
