Census Bureau: More women than men in Dayton in 2019

Of the 1,501 people living in Dayton in 2019, 51.2 percent (768) were women and 48.8 percent (733) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Shenandoah News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 460-to-429. In the 65 and over age range, there were 145 females and 114 males.
