Census Bureau: 77.8 percent of people in Rockingham County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 80,284 citizens living in Rockingham County in 2019, 62,456 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 32,244 of those people were female and 30,212 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
