Town of Bridgewater issued the following announcement on Jun. 18.
Our annual 5k race on Labor Day begins and ends at Sandy Bottom Park (602 East College Street). This is home to the Town's miniature golf course and par-3 course. We welcome participants of all ages and fitness levels. T-shirts guaranteed to those registered by Sunday, August 29, 2021. After that, t-shirts will be available while supplies last. Prizes for overall winners and age groups will be awarded. Pre-registration is $15 per entry for ages 17 & under and $20 for ages 18 & over until August 29. After that date, fees increase to $20 (ages 17 & under) and $25 (ages 18 & over) per entry. After the race, enjoy a free game of mini-golf or par-3 golf. The miniature golf course will be open exclusively for race participants (and their families) from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon or come back after it opens to the public (noon to 10 pm) and play (just show your bib number and you and your family play for free). The same applies to our par-3 golf course except it will not be open exclusively for race participants.
