November 2021 Election Information

City of Waynesboro recently issued the following announcement.

The Constitution of Virginia requires you to be registered in the Ward in which you live in order to vote. For the convenience of the citizens of Waynesboro, the Voter Registration Office is open every day Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM at 250 S Wayne Avenue, Suite 205, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

In order to be eligible to vote in the November 2nd, 2021 General Election you must be registered no later than 5:00PM Tuesday, October 12th, 2021. Anyone wishing to vote in this election may do so.

Also, for the convenience of the citizens the Voter Registration Office will be open on Saturdays, October 23rd, 2021 October 30th, 2021 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM for the purpose of Absentee Voting. October 30th, 2021 is the last day in which a voter may cast an absentee ballot in person. Friday, October 22nd, 2021 is the last day in which an absentee ballot can be mailed.

The official drop box location is: 250 S. Wayne Avenue, Waynesboro VA. A drop box will be located in ALL Precincts on Election Day ONLY. Precincts are listed below:

Ward A: Basic United Methodist Church 489 N. Winchester Avenue

Ward B: Waynesboro Public Library 600 S. Wayne Avenue

Ward C: Former Wayne Hills School 937 Fir Street

Ward D: Westminster Presbyterian Church 1904 Mt. Vernon Street

Central Absentee Precinct: 250 S. Wayne Avenue Third Floor Conference Room ELECTION DAY ONLY
