Volunteers Needed for Dayton Days on Oct. 2

32

Town of Dayton issued the following announcement on Sept. 17

The Town of Dayton is busy preparing for the annual Dayton Days Autumn Celebration on Saturday, October 2. We are excited to welcome this tradition back into Dayton! We are in need of some very early morning volunteers to assist with vendor arrival. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

  • Vendor Check-in: Check-in vendors as they arrive and hand out vehicle tags
  • Vendor Set-Up Assistance: Assist vendors by guiding them into their spot, ensuring they do not block the road, and helping to unload if necessary
  • Golf Cart Drivers: Golf cart drivers are needed to transport vendors to and from Wilbur Pence Middle School
If you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering, please sign up online here: https://signup.com/go/BVYcBTE

*The Town will be following all state and federal guidelines in relation to COVID-19. For a complete list of mask recommendations, visit the Virginia Department of Health's website: https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/.../mask-requirements-and.../*
