Public Hearing - Harman Monument Relocation

City of Waynesboro issued the following announcement on Nov. 18

TAKE NOTICE that Council for the City of Waynesboro, Virginia, will hold a public hearing pursuant to Section 15.2-1812 of the Code of Virginia on Monday, December 13, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kate Collins Middle School Auditorium, 1625 Ivy Street, Waynesboro Virginia, to receive public comment on the removal and relocation of the Colonel William H. Harman monument erected in Constitution Park.

The City will accept offers for the Harmon monument until December 13, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. Further information is available for review at the Office of the City Manager, Room 210, Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building, 503 West Main Street, Waynesboro, Virginia, or by calling 540-942-6600.  If special assistance is needed to attend this meeting, please telephone 540-942-6669.
