Town of Monterey issued the following announcement on Feb. 2
Love the swap shack? Think Monterey has a great transfer station? Want to help guide this important service though its next phase? Is your schedule flexible over the next month?
If you answered yes, then you might be interested in serving on the newly-formed Transfer Station Committee. Committee members will work with the Director of Operations and Town Administrator to review and assess the current staffing model and implications of various staffing models to address the upcoming retirement of current staff. These will be very important for the budget discussions currently in process.
To apply, please fill out the Appointment Request Application on the Select Board page of the Town Website, or a hard copy of the form at Town Hall, no later than February 7th at noon. Appointments will be made on February 9th with the goal of starting discussions and research the week of February 14th.
