Tomorrow: Charter Day

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate Charter Day!  Charter Day commemorates the founding of Bridgewater, as our charter was enacted on February 7, 1835.

Kick off this fun-filled day with shuffelcurl at Generations Park beginning at 11:00 a.m.  If you are interested in participating in America’s fastest growing sport, sign up to play by emailing shufflecurl@bridgewater.town.  Join us to play or simply watch the fun at the ice rink.

Bridgewater’s first “Big Block of Cheese Day” will be at the Bridgewater Community Center from Noon until 6:00 p.m.  Learn more about the history of “Big Block of Cheese Day” in the Current.  Stop by and let us know what you think.  Department heads will be available to discuss your suggestions, concerns, and questions.  You are also welcome to stop by 201 Green Street to walk around and take note of the physical improvements that have been recently made, most notably the Help Desk, Treasurer’s Office, and Police Department.

At 7:00 p.m., festivities will continue at Sipe Center with a trivia contest.  All residents are welcome to join in!  The winner of the trivia contest will receive a private party at Sipe Center (valued at $250) and a $250 concession voucher.   Everyone attending will be eligible for a selection of door prizes.  A variety of free desserts will be available from one of our Town’s favorite bakeries.
