James Madison University’s baseball team defeated ULM in their series opener after scoring six runs in one inning. Key performances came from Ike Schmidly and Wyatt Campbell as all nine starters contributed hits.
A fielding error cost James Madison University’s baseball team as they fell to ULM, losing their lead late in Saturday’s game. Junior Ike Schmidly homered for the third time in two days but it was not enough for victory. The teams will face off again tomorrow.
