A fielding error cost James Madison University’s baseball team as they fell to ULM, losing their lead late in Saturday’s game. Junior Ike Schmidly homered for the third time in two days but it was not enough for victory. The teams will face off again tomorrow.
Former James Madison safety Jacob Thomas has signed a contract with the Minnesota Vikings after completing an accomplished college career. He is only the second JMU player to join Minnesota’s roster.
