Of the 1,683 people living in East Lexington in 2019, 43.1 percent (726) were women and 56.9 percent (957) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central Shenandoah News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 718-to-444. In the 65 and over age range, there were 103 females and 39 males.
