There were 201 white students enrolled in Highland County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 4.7% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Highland County Public Schools District welcomed 212 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 94.8% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.
