Wilson Memorial High School had the highest enrollment among Augusta County schools, welcoming 865 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 50.3% of them were female, and 49.7% were male.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 80% of Wilson Memorial High School's total enrollment.

Among the 18 schools in Augusta County, Edward G. Clymore Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 776 students, while Fort Defiance High School welcomed 738 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Wilson Memorial High School is part of Augusta County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Augusta County, with its main office in Fishersville.

In the previous school year, Wilson Memorial High School also had the highest number of students among Augusta County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
