100 percent of applicants to Mary Baldwin University were admitted for fall 2018

At Mary Baldwin University, 57 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 86 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Staunton enrolled 1,902 students in fall 2018, including 1,327 in undergraduate and 575 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

54 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 46 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (53 percent) and Black or African American (23 percent).

The school admitted 100 percent of the 6,371 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 6 percent enrolled.
