Cost of college went up for all students at Mary Baldwin University

Tuition and fees rose 0.1 percent for 2018-19 at Mary Baldwin University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Virginia students paid $31,110 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 107 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.9 million and 89 students took out student loans totaling more than $522,933.

Including all undergraduates (1,902), 921 students used grants or scholarships totaling $15.7 million, and 799 students took out $3.2 million in federal student loans.
