- The Eagles tied the contest in the bottom of the second as Biesecker hit an RBI double with two outs to score Kyle Carlson, 3-3.
- Bridgewater took the lead in the fifth as Hunter Clever scored from first on a single by Jonathan Sexton to make the score 4-3. The Eagles added an insurance run in the eighth as Clever drew a bases-loaded walk to score Luke Tomajczyk, 5-3.
- Averett struck for a pair of runs in the top of the ninth inning to tie the game at 5-5. The Eagles loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth, but could not plate a runner as the game went to an extra frame.
- The Cougars went down in order to start the 10th. Isaiah Blanks reached base on a throwing error and took second after an errant pick off attempt got away from the first baseman. Blanks came around to score on a walk-off single by Brett Tharp as the Eagles picked up a 6-5 victory.
- Biesecker went 4-for-5 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored, while Carlson went 2-for-2 at the dish with three walks.
- Hartman registered a pair of RBI
- Reid Long started on the mound and went 6.0 innings. He yielded three runs on seven hits but struck out five batters compared to just one walk.
- Nick Griffin came in for 2.0 innings of relief before Tharp finished out the last 2.0 innings and got the win.
Game Two
- The Eagles' defense made five errors in the opening frame of game two as the Cougars struck for four runs on just one hit with all four runs being unearned. AU added to the lead with a run in the second to take a 5-0 lead.
- Bridgewater got back in the game in the home half of the second as Isaac Sumpter walked and found his way to third base after a Tomajczyk single. Both runners came around to score on a Clever triple. Biesecker followed Clever with an RBI double to make the score 5-3.
- The Cougars responded with two runs in the third to increase the lead to 7-3. The score remained the same until the sixth inning when Bridgewater exploded for seven runs on eight hits in the frame. Tharp drove in Carlson with an RBI single followed by Clever crossing home plate on a wild pitch. Biesecker scored on a wild pitch just moments later. Tharp came around to score on an RBI single from Hartman and Snider batted him in as well. Sumpter laced a single up the middle to score Collin Reid and then Sumpter was able to cross home plate on a single from Carlson to give Bridgewater a 10-7 lead.
- The lead didn't last long as the Cougars plated three runs on a pair of hits in the following half inning to tie the game at 10-10. The score stood for the next several innings.
- In the bottom of the ninth, Biesecker started off the frame with an infield single before moving to second on a bunt base hit from Tharp. Hartman drew a walk to load the bases and Reid lined an RBI single through the right side of the infield to score Biesecker and give the Eagles their second walk-off win of the day, 11-10.
