There were 1,973 white students enrolled in Harrisonburg City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 0.9% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Harrisonburg City Public Schools District welcomed 6,792 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 29% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the school.
