On Friday, March 21, former Spotswood High School standout Carmelo Pacheco’s current collegiate team the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers lost 93-49 against the Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Lenovo Center, this was the first game against the Duke Blue Devils during the championship.

Carmelo Pacheco’s hometown is Harrisonburg and game position is guard.
